  • Heather,

Have you ever watched This American Life on Showtime?

This reminds me so much of a couple of stunts put by Improv Everywhere in NYC. Not to be confused with the improv group Michael Scott is involved in.

Here’s the story on Improv Everywhere’s “Best Gig Ever.”

  • I have to say, i was sitting here lamenting about how horrible and messed up the world is. How screwed up politics are and how they are never ever going to get better no matter how hard we try. And then…hammer pants dance and suddenly i feel like, “wow…maybe there is hope for us after all.”

does that make me more sad, or more pathetic? No matter, thanks for the post, love your blog and I agree with Hornby, i find a new song to fall in love with everytime i visit.

"I love the relationship that anyone has with music: because there's something in us that is beyond the reach of words, something that eludes and defies our best attempts to spit it out. It's the best part of us, probably, the richest and strangest part..."
—Nick Hornby, Songbook
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel."
—Hunter S. Thompson

Mp3s are for sampling purposes, kinda like when they give you the cheese cube at Costco, knowing that you'll often go home with having bought the whole 7 lb. spiced Brie log. They are left up for a limited time. If you LIKE the music, go and support these artists, buy their schwag, go to their concerts, purchase their CDs/records and tell all your friends. Rock on.
