  • That site is SO hilarious, but it makes me feel way too white every time I recognize something I do!

  • Hi,

I have a great song video clip – Tribute to WWII veterans on my blog. Please check that out. It’ll make you cry.

  • “you can always make them feel better by asking them how they feel about Southern California.” – So true, so true. They have the worst slang down there. Gosh! What does “dank” even mean? Is it good? Or is it bad!? So not hyphy. ;)

  • meh…the site is derivative. any number of comics have done this schtick enough. and, as enough people have pointed out, it has more to do with economic class, financial comfort, and peer influence than it has to do with race. making fun of people for being into or proud of or vocal about something, whatever it is and whoever they are, will ALWAYS be an easy go to for a cheap comic because it rallies everyone everyone that isn’t. it’s a catch 22 if you enjoy said thing – if you don’t laugh, you don’t have a sense of humor or humility; if you do laugh, you don’t really get the joke because only outsiders can really get it or you’re laughing to seem like you can laugh at yourself…

the irony is of course that the lack of humility shoe is laced pretty lightly to the other foot…

"I love the relationship that anyone has with music: because there's something in us that is beyond the reach of words, something that eludes and defies our best attempts to spit it out. It's the best part of us, probably, the richest and strangest part..."
—Nick Hornby, Songbook
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel."
—Hunter S. Thompson

Mp3s are for sampling purposes, kinda like when they give you the cheese cube at Costco, knowing that you'll often go home with having bought the whole 7 lb. spiced Brie log. They are left up for a limited time. If you LIKE the music, go and support these artists, buy their schwag, go to their concerts, purchase their CDs/records and tell all your friends. Rock on.
