No band could have covered Love Reign O’er Me better than Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam. I can only guess that Pete Townsend is flattered. Vedder loves the Who and pays proper respect in this great cover of an all-time great.

Actually, I thought it was the worst thing I’d ever heard. Eddie Vedder is not nearly the singer that Roger Daltrey is. It made me cringe hearing Eddie try to hit those high notes. It reminded me of a dying pig. Very sad.
