Out on the porch . . . but they don’t wave

I’m reporting for jury duty this morning like the good little citizen I am, and then I am off to see Andrew Bird/Apostle of Hustle in Boulder tonight (who else is in? Can I get an amen?) — but a quick post before I go.

This little video made me cackle with laughter last night. Brilliance:

Make me fries.

  • Hello Hello. I really love your blog, and I check it at least three times a week.

I have just posted my second podcast, and would be honored if you had the time to check it out.

  • That video was fantastic. What a perfect song to do that to, because even live, you really have no idea what he’s saying… And I don’t know what I like more, the potato wave, the whale rider with an arrow, or the anna nicole part where they actually found a picture of her in a leg cast.

  • Never thought of it before, but I have no idead of the words, yet that’s one of my favorite PJ songs. Too funny. Thanks Heather.

"I love the relationship that anyone has with music: because there's something in us that is beyond the reach of words, something that eludes and defies our best attempts to spit it out. It's the best part of us, probably, the richest and strangest part..."
—Nick Hornby, Songbook
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel."
—Hunter S. Thompson

Mp3s are for sampling purposes, kinda like when they give you the cheese cube at Costco, knowing that you'll often go home with having bought the whole 7 lb. spiced Brie log. They are left up for a limited time. If you LIKE the music, go and support these artists, buy their schwag, go to their concerts, purchase their CDs/records and tell all your friends. Rock on.
