so love this vessel while you’re aboard

I want to stand right in the center of this video for a long while.

Dum vivimus vivamus.

file5Scotland’s Admiral Fallow first charmed me two years ago with this singalong cover (which I still listen to on a very regular basis), and they have a wonderful new record out called Tree Bursts In Snow (Nettwerk Records).

Thanks to reader Laurie for bringing this video into my morning.

  • I took me a couple of listens, but I really dig it now. Just checked out their album on Spotify and it’s really good.

  • All things Scottish… I like this a lot. It rises above a lot of other the Edward Sharpe / Of Monsters and Men / Mumford and Sons genre.

  • They played Vancouver late last year and they were so great live. Small venue with about 30-40 people.

"I love the relationship that anyone has with music: because there's something in us that is beyond the reach of words, something that eludes and defies our best attempts to spit it out. It's the best part of us, probably, the richest and strangest part..."

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel."
—Hunter S. Thompson

Mp3s are for sampling purposes, kinda like when they give you the cheese cube at Costco, knowing that you'll often go home with having bought the whole 7 lb. spiced Brie log. They are left up for a limited time. If you LIKE the music, go and support these artists, buy their schwag, go to their concerts, purchase their CDs/records and tell all your friends. Rock on.
