I first heard Bachmann (solo/ doing Crooked Finger material--I knew Archers from way long ago) in 2005 at a Tsunami benefit show. Are you ready for this line up? Ben Gibbard, Mark Kozelek, Jonathan Richman and Eric Bachmann. That has to still be the most consistently awesome line up that I've seen. Have you heard the original Reservoir Songs? The oddest and most awesome cover of “Solitary Man” is on there. Tuba + banjo!

I first heard Bachmann (solo/ doing Crooked Finger material–I knew Archers from way long ago) in 2005 at a Tsunami benefit show. Are you ready for this line up? Ben Gibbard, Mark Kozelek, Jonathan Richman and Eric Bachmann. That has to still be the most consistently awesome line up that I’ve seen.
