I saw them last year open a show for Blitzen Trapper, Fleet Foxes and Menomena. They weren't ready for prime time, but a year later when they opened for Modest Mouse they were quite good (also check out Morning Teleportation, the other band Isaac Brock signed to Glacial Pace!). The cool thing is, this started out as a bedroom project for Nate Lacy and his dad goes to every one of his shows. You can't miss him, he's the very excited cowboy who talks to everybody. It kinda warms my heart to see a dad be that excited for his son's music career -- even when it was just him playing songs in his bedroom. Oh man, these guys are great.
