I really wanted to make the trip to Sasquatch this year, but with two trips planned this year already, Sasquatch wasn't going to fit in the budget. I'm already saving for next year though. I'm just hoping I return from my trip in on July 9th in time to go catch Bon Iver in Salt Lake. I saw The Builders & The Butchers in Salt Lake in December, and I'm excited for their headline show here this summer. Great review, and now your making me sad that I missed Dent May's show at Kilby a couple weeks ago.

Of Montreal WAS good. Best dance party of the festival, I think. I wish I could have got closer, but seeing all the crazy costumes and confetti and such was a lot to take in, wasn't it?

Sasquatch was truly a treat. Amazing weather and tons of bands in a ridiculous venue. I think you missed out on NIN though, they gave what can only be described as one of the most passionate concerts I've ever seen. I'm 31 and thought I might have a heart attack in the pit. Each to his own though I know. I also thought Devotchka was fantastic, Dodos have some terrific stuff coming out, RA RA Riot was great as well. Too many other bands to talk about and this isn't my blog! You nailed Bon Iver, what a show - and I was one of two people in the crowd (besides the band) that I think he played Blood Bank for (Wisconsinites, yea!)
