Yeah, Steel Train! They opened for The Format once, and I saw them again at Bonnaroo… Say, Heather, you should check into them… wonderful tunes.

These guys were absolutely incredible. Thankfully, the demo from Fun captures all of The Format’s musical magic, AND there’s another great band called Steel Train making just as fantastic power-pop. In fact, Steel Train’s lead singer joined with Ruess for Fun.

I so miss The Format, the one chance I had to see them Nate got sick and couldn’t play…damnit.

Couldn’t agree more. I had the chance to see them twice and they were 100% high energy. Damn I miss these guys.
